Tech Detector

Web Technology Fingerprinting Engine

"Web framework and technology fingerprinter identifying CMSs, libraries, server software, and widgets."

▶ Scan with Tech Detector
Overview

Tech Detector identifies websites and their underlying technology stacks. It recognizes over 1,800 different web components, including Content Management Systems, frontend frameworks, JavaScript libraries, web servers, and framework versions.

Tech Detector combines passive inspection of response headers, cookies, and HTML meta tags with targeted heuristic probes. It uncovers software versions that are vulnerable to known CVEs, identifies obscure internal frameworks, and surfaces misconfigured development libraries.

Use Tech Detector immediately after discovering live HTTP services to map what tech stack powers each host. This informs which specialized scanners should run next.
